Here is a list of five shows I’ve put together, which I recommend people to watch if they’re interested. I’ve add a few spoilers too, so be prepared for it.
1. Seven of the Sky
This show is about a princess from heaven and a mortal. The princess, whom is named Xiao’qi travels to the mortal realm, which we know as Earth. Her first task was to find an apple that can never turn black or rot, in order to save her second sister, Xiao’er. She cross paths with a mortal, named Dong Yong, who helped her search for that type of apple that can never turn black. After that task was done, Xiao’qi has developed feelings for him, same goes with Dong Yong.
Returning back to the mortal realm, Xiao’qi and Dong Yong goes through ups and downs to protect their love. Sacrificing themselves and with the help of their friends, their love stayed true throughout the whole show.
2. Chinese Paladin 3
Chinese Paladin 3 is about a guy named Jing Tian. He lives a normal life, dreaming to be rich and wanting to take over his dad’s pawnshop. One night, during a meteor shower, he receives a jade pendant, which flew to him from the sky in one of the meteors. Planning to sell it for money the next day, he walks through the town and was accidentally dragged through the streets and touched back with a lady, Xuejian in a bridal sedan chair.
After having meet Xuejian, his journey starts, with him bumping into her nearly everyday of his life. He also met Changching, whom helps Jing Tian and Xuejian in a few events they encountered together. Since Changching’s clothes were all white, Jing Tian calls him White Tofu. After Xuejian’s grandfather dies, he takes care of her and finds shelter for her.
He got a sword, whom follows him everywhere and soon a lady appears from the sword, claiming she’s his sister. His “brother” Maomao, whom is faithful to him helps him take care of the two ladies.
Like always, when an event starts, another follows. Having solved a case/event, another follows. And this time, only the chosen one will be able to solve the case and save the whole world.
So, the journey begins, with his so-called sister, Xuejian, White Tofu, Maomao, and Jing Tian, traveling to find the five pearls to save the world. On the journey, the encountered people and many events which needs them to save one another. Love develops, hatred follows, happiness ends, and sadness follows.
I really recommend this show, even though it’s a sad show, it does have it’s funny and good parts. You never know, you might be crying and laughing at the same time while watching this show.
3. Chinese Paladin 1
This show is about Li Xiao Yao, who starts off as normal person, who lives a normal life, flirting with the girls in the village. When his aunt fell ill, he traveled to a place to retrieve a pill for his aunt. When he got to his destination, he meets a lady, who claims she knows her. He got the pill quite easily, but was also forced to marry the lady, who’s name was Zhao Ling’er, by Ling’er’s grandma. When he got back to his home, he gave the pill to his aunt, who became well again and he lived his normal life again, not knowing that the island he went to was in danger.
When he met his wife again, she tells him that her home was destroyed and they traveled back home immediately. When they got to the island, Xiao Yao finds out that Ling’er’s life might be in danger and they begin there journey to Ling’er birth home, where she lived her first few years of life there.
On the journey, they met another lady, Lin Yue’ru, who is a spoiled girl. Yue’ru eventually traveled with Xiao Yao on his journey next. Since Ling’er left him because of a certain reason, Yue’ru agreed to travel with him to find Ling’er. Jin Yuan, who is also another person whom Ling’er and Xiao Yao met, traveled with Yue’ru and Xiao Yao, but halfway through, he left them for his personal business.
Xiao Yao and Yue’ru met many demons along the way and worked together to kill the demons. Yue’ru, who once despised Xiao Yao grew to like him and she no longer was a spoiled girl. She willingly showed their Lin sword arts to him, who learns really fast and they begin to understand each other during the journey.
4. Xuan Yuan Sword: Rift of the Sky
Obviously, this is a really good show. You can see by the wallpaper.
This show is about Chen Jingchou and Yuwen Tuo. Yuwen Tuo works with the bad guys and is on a job to find five artifacts that will make him ruler of the world. Jingchou works with himself, and is obviously, on the good side. He wants to find the five artifacts, to save the world.
Jingchou’s companion on this journey is Taba Yue’er. The two of them bickers alot during the journey. Having met with Yuwen Tuo during their journey, they set out together. However, Yuwen Tuo has lost his evil side of him and now goes by the name Jianchi. Jingchou and Jianchi became brothers and Jianchi helped Jingchou in some cases, since he didn’t know how to help himself. On the journey, they met another lady, who has an artifact inside of her. She was Nuwa’s daughter, Yu Xiao Xue. Jingchou fell in “love” with Xiao Xue, while Jianchi and Xiao Xue were in love.
In their series of events, they soon found out that Jianchi was Yuwen Tuo and were mad at that, since their enemy was Yuwen Tuo, who made them became who they are now.
Definitely watch this show. There’s some misunderstandings in feelings and not knowing that the other loves this person and such but, that’s what makes it really awesome!
5. Guai Xia Yi Zhi Mei
This show is about four main characters, who are like detectives. They solve cases and receive money for doing so, but mostly, they solve cases because they wanted to.
In the series of solving cases, they reveal their lives one by one, solving their lives too. Love grew between the four of them and misunderstandings occurs.
This is a show that shows how strong love and a promise can be.

I’ve watched all these five shows. And I’ve got to say, they’re all good. Four of them casts only one main guy, Hu Ge. Of course! Like all Tangren shows, these shows contains comedy, love/romance, wuxia, horror, hatred, and many other genres which you can list.
I’ve enjoyed watching these shows and honestly, Seven of the Sky is still the best show I’ve ever watched. But, other than my best show, all these five are really awesome. It didn’t take long to watch the shows as I was really attached to it and finished it really fast. My record for a show was probably a week, because I didn’t have much time to watch the show.
I hope some readers will get motivated to watch one of these shows one way or another. And hopefully none of you readers miss out on these awesome shows.
